Part-Time Private Chef

Overview

A mature couple in Greenwich, Connecticut is looking for a part-time private chef to cook for them at their waterfront home.

The kitchen is new and fully outfitted. This is a live-out role. About a third of the time you’ll cook for the couple alone.

The rest of the time you’ll cook for them and two regular guests, so four covers most days.

Compensation & Schedule

Location: Greenwich, Connecticut (waterfront home)

Schedule: 3 days/week — two weekdays and one weekend day, 3:00–8:00 PM

Compensation: $1,500

Transportation: Use of a car for work-related tasks

Responsibilities

•     Cook dinner three nights a week, plus occasional lunches.

•     Focus on light Mediterranean cooking, seafood, and minimal meat.

•     Shop for groceries and household supplies.

•     Keep the kitchen and pantry clean and well stocked.

Qualifications

•     Previous experience as a private chef or in a similar role preferred.

•     Strong cooking skills across a range of cuisines, with an emphasis on Mediterranean and seafood.

•     Must speak English.

•     Yacht experience a plus.

Additional Information

•     The home is 4,500 square feet.

•     A housekeeper is employed for the main home.
