Long Term Live-out Weekend Nanny

Location: Bergen County, NJ

Pay: $40 / hr

Schedule: Open to every weekend but would prefer every other; 9-5pm but flexible

Start Date: As soon as possible with the right fit

A young, wonderful family is seeking a dedicated nanny to join their happy family and provide exceptional care for their 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old twin boys. They are looking or an experienced nanny who enjoys building a genuine connection with younger children and is interested in a long term placement. The family only needs assistance every other weekend with the possibility of extra hours during those days. They are looking for that perfect extra set of hands!

Key Responsibilities:

The nanny’s main focus is the children and all areas of their care.

• Demonstrate proficiency and confidence in caring for a toddler and the unique challenges of twins including feeding, sleep routines, and developmental milestones
• Assist in maintaining the orderliness of children's bedrooms and play areas.
• Aid in creating, cooking, and cleaning up after meals and playtime activities.
• Show genuine care and patience in handling the needs and emotions of the children
• Create a positive and stimulating environment through play and interactive activities
• Maintain a structured routine while adapting to the evolving needs of the family
• Work closely with the family and foster a supportive and cooperative environment
• Pet-Friendly: Comfort and affection for their two small dogs; one is very friendly, while the other may require more attention and care.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of prior professional childcare experience
• Reliable, punctual, and engaging with young children
• Non-smoker: Strict adherence to a smoke-free environment
• Valid driver's license
• Commit to a long-term placement
• Degrees or certifications in Education or Childcare are NOT required but are a plus!
